Step to Freedom Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assess and address clients' mental health needs.
ā¢ Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
ā¢ Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing severe emotional distress.
ā¢ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
ā¢ Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
ā¢ Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
ā¢ Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
ā¢ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
ā¢ Experience with telehealth and remote counseling platforms is preferred.
