Medicare Broker Sales Manager, Licensed - East TN - Remote - Cigna Healthcare
About the position
The Medicare Broker Sales Manager is responsible for executing Cigna's Medicare strategy within the East Tennessee market, focusing on local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales. This remote position requires a strong emphasis on training, relationship management, member retention, and sales growth to achieve market objectives.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Execute multi-year local broker strategy for book of business
,
ā¢ Influence brokers to sell more by positioning our product and promoting our brand
,
ā¢ Execute on national topline strategies with downline sales agencies & local direct agencies to drive profitable growth through down-line sales
,
ā¢ Develop & execute direct agent strategies to drive profitable growth and member retention
,
ā¢ Search for new local/regional agencies & agents to cultivate and grow
,
ā¢ Manage contacts and exercise long-term vision approach within a territory
,
ā¢ Expand sales efforts across multiple products as appropriate
,
ā¢ Execute on market / region sales goals and objectives
,
ā¢ Communicate and monitor downline agency sales goals against production
,
ā¢ Assist in recruiting, business plan development and new agent training
,
ā¢ Meet or exceed sales objectives through broker channel
,
ā¢ Conduct advertised sales presentations for prospects
,
ā¢ Leverage community partnerships to host events
,
ā¢ Produce campaign and event tracking reports
,
ā¢ Report daily & weekly activities to ensure alignment with market goals
,
ā¢ Adhere to compliance requirements and organizational policies
,
ā¢ Coordinate effectively with Sales Operations team for lead management
,
ā¢ Create and maintain growth relationships with key organizations
Requirements
ā¢ High School Diploma required
,
ā¢ Valid Health Insurance license required
,
ā¢ Stronger Microsoft suites skills, fluent in Outlook, Excel & Word
,
ā¢ Strong social media platform skills
,
ā¢ Proven sales performance and growth mindset
,
ā¢ Strong business planning skills
,
ā¢ Ability to train others on sales process, tools and tech, Cigna products
,
ā¢ Strong presentation skills
,
ā¢ Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
,
ā¢ Strong organizational and time management skills
,
ā¢ Strong relationship building skills
,
ā¢ Strong working knowledge of the sales process

ā¢ Ability to collaborate well both internally and externally
