Medical Transcriptionist/Editor (QC/QA)
We are currently looking for an experienced candidate for the Medical Transcription/Editor (Quality Analyst) position. Requirements: • Experience working with specialties such as psychiatry, podiatry, cardiology, dermatology, plastic surgery, hematology/oncology, and radiology will be an advantage. • Experience working with doctors who have accents is also preferred. • Associate or Bachelor's degree (in a related field preferred). • 5+ years of experience as a Medical transcriptionist (Certified) and 10+ years of experience as an Editor. • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Should be able to listen, transcribe, and edit reports with 98.5% accuracy. • Typing speed should be a minimum of 40 wpm. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Knowledge of transcription/EMR software and tools. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexible working hours. • Should be able to deliver the highest level of quality as per HIPAA compliance.
