What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Accurately enter and update patient demographic information into the electronic health record system
- Review and confirm appointment details with callers, including necessary items to bring
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all activities accurately

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; college, vocational/technical training or certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment and/or a medical/dental office setting preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health records software or equivalent preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills with excellent data entry capabilities
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Creole
- Experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with medical and dental terminology
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
