 Monday: 9am-6pm
 Tuesday-Friday: 8am-5pm
 Saturday 8am-12pm (starting in June and only select Saturdays)

Job Description
Join a dynamic and growing optometry practice as a Medical Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient. As the friendly face and voice of the practice, you will greet and assist a diverse patient base, with a focus on facilitating clear communication and building strong relationships with the predominantly Spanish-speaking community.
Responsibilities
 Warmly welcome patients and efficiently manage incoming calls and appointment scheduling
 Collect necessary patient information and create detailed route slips with demographics and insurance details
 Verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate data entry for seamless billing processes
 Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including processing payments and uploading files
 Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
 Maintain organized patient records and ensure proper filing systems
 Support the efficient operation of the practice through various administrative duties
Requirements
 Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role (preferred)
 Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
 Proficiency with computers and basic office software
 Friendly and professional demeanor, with a genuine commitment to outstanding patient care
