Defy is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to add to our growing team. The Quality Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in the patient care plan. Through patience, integrity, and attention to detail a Quality Control Specialist will ensure every Defy Medical patient receives accurate and high-quality care. A Quality Control Specialist at Defy is outgoing and enjoys helping people. They can adapt and learn new computer programs quickly. Multitasking, communication, and teamwork are pillars for a Quality Control Specialist. Analytics and attention to detail are the key traits to be successful in this role. Responsibilities • Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy • Sending prescriptions to the pharmacy to be processed • Reviewing EHR to ensure all necessary information is recorded • Reviewing lab order to ensure all lab orders are completed and recorded • Effective daily communication with contracted pharmacies • Swift and effective communication to correct any mistakes • Schedule Audits • Prescription Audits • Handle medication recalls appropriately • Ensuring payments are handled properly • Handling a high volume of charts Qualifications • 2 + years' experience in healthcare setting preferred • Electronic Health Record experience required • Electronic Medical Record experience required • Computer processing experience required • Effective communication • Effective resolution skills • Experience with Medicine/ Pharmacology Benefits • PTO • Paid Holidays • Medical • Dental • Employee Discount on services • Benefits are subject to change at any time Job Type: Full-time Shift Available • 9am-5:30pm (x2) • 11am-7:30pm Salary: $19.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Medical Quality Control: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: • One location • Work Remotely Apply tot his job
