Medical Billing and Collection Specialist
PremierPro Billing is a fast-growing medical billing company located in Wyckoff, NJ. Our mission is to relieve the medical providers we work with from the administrative burdens that come with medical billing. We are seeking to expand our skilled team of billing specialists to support our continued growth. Responsibilities: • Investigate unpaid balances & underpayments • Work with insurances to resolve reimbursement issues • Track & follow up on appeals/reconsiderations • Accurately post payments to patient accounts • Maintain clear & concise notation of activity on patient accounts • Escalate complex issues to supervisor • Adhere to established procedures & protocols • Complete ad-hoc tasks as needed Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing or medical office environment • Ability to work independently • Strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented & organized mindset • Excellent communication skills Benefits: • Paid PTO, vacation, holidays • Full-time & part-time positions available Pay: • $21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience Company DescriptionIn-Office applicants only Non Remote Apply tot his job
