Job Description Skilled Wound Care is looking for a Medical Biller to join our rapidly growing company! We are a mobile surgical physician wound care group expanding into new markets of the United States. Responsibilities: Use coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies Work directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get a claim processed and paid Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims Verify patients’ insurance coverage Answer patients’ billing questions Handle collections on unpaid accounts *THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE* To learn more information contact us today at (310) 445-5999! Or visit us at www.skilledwoundcare.com Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication 1-2 years of medical billing experience required Medical billing diploma or work experience Lytec or Medisoft experience a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel Full time work from home position Must be willing to work the graveyard shift - Will be working US hours This is an independent contractor role Great Place to Work® Certified!
