We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Tutor to work with high school students in a one-on-one setting, providing homework prep and support in various math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. Job Summary:
Provide in-home, one-on-one tutoring for high school students in math subjects
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
Effectively communicate with students, parents, and our office team to ensure excellent customer service
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and submit reports to our office within 24 hours
Responsibilities:
Teach students in a way that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to their individual learning style
Balance tutoring hours and ensure that each student receives the support they need
Respond to student and parent inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Follow up with our office regarding student enrollment packages and hours
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on math tutoring or teaching
Minimum 2 years of experience working with students in a one-on-one setting
Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not required
Excellent communication, administrative, and typing skills
Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
