Marketing Platform Specialist
Western Health Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Marketing Platform Specialist to support the execution and optimization of their digital marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for managing marketing technology platforms, building and deploying campaigns, and ensuring high-quality, data-driven communication across channels.ResponsibilitiesBuild, test, and deploy email and SMS campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar platformsCreate and manage audience segmentation to support targeted and lifecycle campaignsConduct quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure accuracy, personalization, and deliverabilityMonitor campaign performance and report on key metrics to support continuous improvementManage campaign workflows and calendars to ensure timely, accurate execution aligned with business prioritiesMaintain and update website content using Sitecore CMSEnsure content accuracy, formatting, brand consistency, and proper taggingSupport SEO best practices and campaign-specific landing pagesSupport daily administration of marketing technology platforms, ensuring system functionality and data integrityTroubleshoot campaign and platform issues; escalate as neededMaintain reporting dashboards for ongoing campaign performance trackingDocument workflows, processes, and campaign procedures to support consistency and onboardingSupport digital marketing initiatives across email, SMS, web, and social channelsEnsure all campaigns meet brand standards, audience requirements, and regulatory guidelinesStay current on platform enhancements and marketing technology trends to improve executionSkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Business, or related field1–2 years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or marketing technologyExperience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marketing automation platformsExperience building and deploying email campaignsFamiliarity with audience segmentation and data management principlesExperience working within a content management system (CMS)Strong attention to detail with a quality assurance mindsetEffective time management and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn new platforms quickly and work independentlyStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to analyze and interpret campaign performance dataExperience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marketing automation platformsBasic understanding of HTML/CSSCompany OverviewWestern Health Advantage is is all about helping people obtain quality health care & also support medical innovation It was founded in 1997, and is headquartered in Sacramento, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
