Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will support marketing initiatives across various areas including content development, event planning, and business development, ensuring high-quality execution and collaboration with the marketing team.ResponsibilitiesExecute high-quality written and visual content across channels, including: client-facing presentations, internal presentations, case studies, and event materialsCreate and refine pitch and marketing materials using PowerPoint, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative SuiteEnsure all designed visuals and written messaging are clear, polished, compelling, and aligned with firm positioningPartner with consulting teams to translate complex ideas into digestible marketing materials, while maintaining brand voice and consistencySupport end-to-end execution of client-facing and internal eventsDevelop invite lists and track RSVPs in collaboration with client-facing teamsCoordinate logistics and materials with internal stakeholders and external vendorsPrepare event collateral (invites, graphics, webpages, bio books, etc.)Prepare decks and talking points for forums, conferences, speaking engagements, and webinarsManage post-event follow-up processes and reportingMaintain brand consistency across all event materials and executionSupport on-site execution as neededField client-facing pitch and proposal requests with responsiveness and attention to detailStructure and design marketing and pitch decks that clearly articulate strategy, value propositions, and insightsMaintain proposal templates and continuously refine materials based on feedback and market trendsManage inbound website leads, conduct lead research, and route to appropriate consulting teamsSupport development of executive communications, including: senior team meetings, firm-wide meetings, and Board decksField internal communications requests for the marketing team with responsiveness and attention to detailManage internal swag shop, printed materials, and team appreciation initiativesMaintain and update the marketing calendar, proactively partnering with members of the marketing team on a regular basisOrganize and manage the firm's marketing content libraryOwn the marketing team budget tracking, including invoice and receipt submission to the finance teamSkills0–2 years of experience in marketing, events, communications, or a related roleStrong writing and visual communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPointHighly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environmentPolished communication skills, with the ability and confidence to work cross-functionally and with senior leadersStrong attention to detail, and ability to gather input from key stakeholders to translate ideas into polished, high-quality materialsEagerness to learn, partner closely with a manager, lean into a growth mindset, and accelerate professional developmentStrong interest in developing expertise across all areas of the marketing functionExcited to be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growthPassionate about delivering exceptional client serviceKnowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFOWilling to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole pictureComfortable managing projects with multiple complex workstreams while also focused on your single workstream (you are managing and doing)A self-starter with a strong work ethicFull of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organizationAble to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessaryA team player, able to work with team members across all levelsSomeone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful workA leader of others; you lead by exampleExperience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative SuiteExperience supporting or coordinating marketing initiatives such as content development, events, campaigns, or business development materialsBenefitsBenefitsBonus (overtime eligible)Company OverviewAccordion is a financial and technology consulting firm that offers technical accounting, financial planning, and analysis services.
