Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineering team. The role involves developing and executing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues. Responsibilities Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes and procedures Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve production issues Drive continuous improvements to manufacturing workflows Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards Provide technical support and manufacturing feedback on new product designs Skills Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; an Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow Related professional level career experience in production operations Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling Experience working in a Manufacturing shop floor environment, Machine shop, Electrical shop or assembly line Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability 401(k) match Flexible Spending Accounts EAP Education Assistance Parental Leave Paid time off Holidays Company Overview Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that specializes in advanced technology systems, products, and services.
