In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual testing on software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects.Responsibilities:Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionalityDesign, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plansPerform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testingIdentify, log, track, and retest defects using defect‑tracking toolsWork closely with developers, product owners, and BA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issuesValidate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defect resolutionParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environmentsEnsure adherence to QA standards and best practicesProvide regular test status updates and detailed test reports.Requirements5 years of proven experience in Manual Software TestingStrong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLCExcellent knowledge of testing types and methodologiesHands‑on experience with test case design techniquesExperience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesGood understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queriesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environmentGood to Have :Exposure to API testing (Postman or similar tools)Knowledge of basic automation conceptsExperience testing web‑based and/or enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or HP ALMLife @ ProArchAt ProArch, we believe our people are the key to our success.
