Manager II, Environmental Protection

Develop and implement environmental protection programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor and evaluate current environmental practices and make recommendations for improvement to senior management. Stay up-to-date on all relevant environmental regulations and laws, and ensure company compliance. Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for employees to promote environmental awareness and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement sustainable waste solutions. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans. Manage and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and renewed. Develop and maintain environmental policies and procedures for the company. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required. Provide guidance and support to other departments to ensure environmental compliance in all operations. Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to reduce the company's environmental impact. Lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Represent the company in environmental-related meetings, conferences, and events. Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements in environmental protection to implement best practices. Develop and manage budgets for environmental protection initiatives and programs.
