Maintenance Utility Employee
The Maintenance Utility Employee operates forklifts and stock chasers to assist by transporting all parts going to the various shops for rework and cleaning. The position is also responsible for monitoring outgoing shelves that may contain AOGs and other hot parts that need to be taken to stores/Logistics or shipped for outside repair. Aside from part transportation, this MUE is also responsible for collecting empty boxes, pallets and other miscellaneous items to keep Maintenance and its halls clear of debris.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
• Processes and distributes all Kanban, Shop route, Expedite and AOGs.
• Transports Engine parts routed to rework using a Forklift and Motorized cart.
• Monitors outgoing shelves for hot parts such as AOGs.
• Removes empty boxes, Pallets and other debris from the hallway.
• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
