Mainframe Test Engineer - Resourcesoft, Inc.

Requirements: 3 or more years of experience in Mainframe environments, including MVS COBOL and JCL. Proficiency in software testing methodologies on Mainframe systems. Experience with creating detailed test scenarios and scripts. Experience in analyzing test results and identifying discrepancies. Experience with SQL for data validation. Experience with Serena ChangeMan or similar change control tools. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to test coding changes on Mainframe systems. Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and scripts. Analyze test outcomes, pinpointing deviations from expected results. Support user acceptance testing activities with various stakeholders. Interface with external partners and internal systems for testing coordination. Contribute to the resolution of identified system discrepancies.
