M&A Transaction Advisory / Due Diligence Consultant
About the position
Support PE firms during deal generation, commercial/operational due diligence, and post-close integration by identifying risks, synergies, value creation levers, and operational efficiencies in potential acquisitions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Perform comprehensive operational, commercial, and financial due diligence on targets across industries.
ā¢ Assess operational performance, supply chain resilience, cost structures, and scalability.
ā¢ Quantify EBITDA adjustments, synergies, and value creation opportunities.
ā¢ Support carve-out analyses, add-on integrations, and risk mitigation planning.
ā¢ Prepare detailed reports and presentations for PE investment committees.
Requirements
ā¢ 7+ years in transaction advisory, due diligence, or M&A consulting, preferably with PE focus (e.g., at top strategy firms or boutiques like IGS)
ā¢ Deep experience in operational due diligence, quality of earnings, and post-merger value creation.
ā¢ Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and industry knowledge (manufacturing, healthcare, or tech a plus).
ā¢ Ability to work under tight deal timelines with high attention to detail.
ā¢ Bachelor's degree required
