Logistics Coordinator Assistant Great Bonus and benefits
Fortune Electric American inc, a subsidiary of a Taiwanese publicly traded company based in Torrance office, is actively looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Assistant to join our team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to advance in the logistics field, potentially growing into a Logistics Coordinator role. We are willing to provide training for candidates without prior experience. Key responsibilities include: Receiving the power transformers dimensions and weight information from the overseas team and submitting it to forwarders, the third-party logistics provider, to obtain shipment quotes. Compiled these quotes into a comparison table for management's review and approval. Continuously updated internal teamsincluding sales, service personnel, job site managers, and customerson the status of the shipment. Generated invoices upon delivery of the shipment and submitted these to the accounting department for payment processing and approval. Additionally, performed other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • BS or AS degree, or equivalent experience preferred. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Strong numerical reasoning skills and proficiency in Excel. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. • Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compensation and Benefits: • Starting wage is $20 per hour, subject to adjustments based on individual experience and qualifications. • Benefits package includes health insurance, vacation, substantial year-end bonuses, 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer profit sharing, employee recognition programs, occasional company lunches, and team-building activities.
