Position Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the end-to-end logistics operations of the organization. This includes transportation, warehouse management, inventory control, distribution planning, vendor management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Logistics Operations Management
ā¢ Oversee daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
ā¢ Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery timelines and reduce operational costs.
ā¢ Ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods (inbound and outbound).
ā¢ Monitor fleet performance, route planning, and delivery schedules.
ā¢ Warehouse & Inventory Management
ā¢ Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
ā¢ Maintain optimal inventory levels and manage stock replenishment cycles.
ā¢ Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
ā¢ Ensure proper safety, cleanliness, and compliance in all warehouse facilities.
