Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on our roads, impacting lives profoundly. Our National Road Victim Service provides world-class support services to those at their most vulnerable, and we're looking for a dedicated caseworker to join our team.

Job Title: Local Caseworker - Supporting Road Victims in South Wales

Location: Remote with frequent travel required in South Wales

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver face-to-face support services to clients in their own home or safe meeting place within the South Wales region
Provide emotional support and advocacy to individuals affected by road trauma, including those who have suffered sudden bereavement or have heightened vulnerabilities
Conduct research and advocacy to support cases, reaching out to other organizations where required
Utilize competent IT skills for remote work and maintain accurate records
Travel throughout South Wales to deliver services, with expenses reimbursed
Collaborate with a skilled and friendly team to achieve service goals
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
Essential:
Frontline support service experience
A full, clean UK driving licence, access to your own transport, and willingness to use it for work purposes
Competent IT skills for remote work
Preferred:
Experience supporting people who have suffered sudden bereavement or working with those with heightened vulnerabilities
Research and advocacy skills
Fluency in Welsh
Background in roles within the police, criminal justice, counselling, caseworker, or health and social care sectors
