Loan Processor/File Scrubber (Remote)
The NON-QM Loan Processor/File Scrubber is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and preparing loan files for submission to underwriting, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements. This role focuses on Non-Qualified Mortgage (NON-QM) products, requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of alternative documentation programs. Key Responsibilities: Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Verify borrower information, including income, assets, credit, and property details, according to NON-QM program guidelines. Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation before submission to underwriting. Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to obtain missing or corrected documents. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations throughout the loan process. Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting, maintaining proper documentation and audit trails. Track and manage pipeline to meet deadlines and service-level agreements. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This is a fully remote position, and the candidate can work 9-5 in their time zone.
