Loan Processor Assistant
About the Role:
Join our mortgage processing team as a Loan Processor Assistant. You’ll manage follow-ups on appraisals, title, insurance orders, borrower conditions and team correspondence ONLY. No intake or closing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow up on appraisal, title, and insurance orders, etc
• Monitor and expedite condition requests from underwriters
• Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, and third-party vendors via email and phone
• Organize and maintain loan documentation and file organization
• Track loan status and update internal systems with progress
• Escalate delays or issues to the lead processor immediately
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Fluent in English and Haitian Creole and/or French
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with email, phone, and basic computer systems
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Previous mortgage or lending industry experience a plus (license not required)
Compensation Structure:
Pay is per file at closing, processed weekly. Earnings vary by loan type. (increased pay rates for those with Florida LO license)
Volume: 10–25 loans per month
Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,500.00 per week
