Personal Lines Account Manager

The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Williston Park, NY. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.Responsibilities:Proactively manage an assigned book of business acting as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenanceHandle inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions as related to lines of businessHandle billing, service and endorsement requests and process necessary paperwork associated with requestedAct as liaison between customer and carrier working closely with both to ensure a mutually beneficial relationshipHandle renewal/expiration list for assigned book of business, reviewing loss information, obtaining updated information, renewal applications, and negotiating renewal pricing when necessaryMaintain knowledge of all company systems and offeringsQualifications:3+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the p&c insurance industryStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate via phone or emailSuperior listening skills and ability to probe customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniquesSelf-directed with good decision making and time management skillsProficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance software including AMS360Benefits:Compensation: $60,000-$68,000/yr.Company Paid Life Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term Disability.Medical, Dental, Vision and FSA/HSA plans.401(k) with company match.Additional voluntary benefits including Critical Illness, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity and Supplemental Life Insurance, Legal and Identity Protection, and Pet benefits.Generous PTO.An awesome team of professionals!The Hilb Group is an equal opportunity employer, and we actively support and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws prohibiting all forms of discrimination in employment.
