The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of systems across development, test, and production environments. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE). • Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and system security. • Perform regular system updates, patches, and kernel upgrades. • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure. • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to Linux systems. • Manage cron jobs, automation scripts, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • Implement and monitor backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures. • Configure and maintain web servers (Apache, Nginx), database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and application servers. • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams for deployments and system improvements. • Ensure system hardening and compliance with security policies.
