Lighting Programmer
Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid role for a Lighting Programmer based in Las Vegas, NV, with flexibility for some remote work. The Lighting Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, and executing lighting systems for live events and performances. This includes collaborating with creative teams, configuring lighting consoles, developing show files, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring lighting meets artistic and technical specifications.
The role requires close attention to detail, a strong understanding of lighting software, and ability to adapt to evolving production requirements.
Qualifications
ā¢ Strong background in Programming, ObjectāOriented Programming (OOP), and Software Development
ā¢ Proficiency in Computer Science principles and BackāEnd Web Development
ā¢ Experience working with professional lighting consoles and programming lighting setups
ā¢ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
ā¢ Flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity with onāsite presence in Las Vegas, NV
ā¢ Excellent problemāsolving capabilities and adaptability in dynamic environments
ā¢ Strong organizational and communication skills
ā¢ Familiarity with the entertainment industry or live event production is a plus
