Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent (1099 Contractor)
MedicareCompareUSA is seeking licensed health insurance professionals to join our growing network of independent Medicare agents. This is a 1099 independent contractor position compensated 100% on commission.
Unlike most sales roles, our agents work warm, pre-screened referrals generated through contracted relationships with local hospital systems, physician groups, pharmacies, and community health organizations ā not cold calls.
Compensation Structure
ā¢ 60/40 street-level commission split on provider program sales and renewals
ā¢ 100% street-level commission on all self-generated sales outside the provider program
ā¢ Day-one vesting ā commissions and renewals are yours from your first sale
ā¢ Renewal commissions on existing book of business
ā¢ Real-time commission tracking
What You'll Do
ā¢ Work warm referrals from contracted hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies
ā¢ Enroll clients in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans
ā¢ Participate in hospital-sponsored Medicare educational seminars
ā¢ Use plan comparison and direct enrollment software
ā¢ Run co-op marketing campaigns via social media, digital, and direct mail
ā¢ Manage your book of business using AgencyBloc CRM
Requirements
ā¢ Active Health Insurance License (required at time of application)
ā¢ National Producer Number (NPN) in good standing
ā¢ Current AHIP Certification, or willingness to complete prior to selling
ā¢ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
ā¢ Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
ā¢ Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a professional workspace
ā¢ Life insurance license a plus, but not required
ā¢ Medicare sales experience preferred; motivated newcomers welcome
