Legal Engineer

Overview: Consilio stands as the global leader in eDiscovery, document review, flexible legal talent, and legal advisory & transformation consulting services. We are seeking a Legal Engineer to join our growing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) practice. Legal Engineers are product experts and problem solvers. They are responsible for understanding our customers’ goals and advising on contracting processes to help customers realize their vision for CLM and set them up for long term success. About the job The team works on exciting and innovative projects to deliver the entire Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management platform to global and enterprise clients. You will work closely with our clients and cross functionally with Consilio’s Consulting, Data Services etc. teams to manage the end-to-end delivery of CLM projects. The Legal Engineer acts as the key solution and technical advisor for the client, which will include facilitating workshops and delivering implementation projects from requirements gathering all the way through to hypercare and post-implementation support. Responsibilities: Lead 5-15 customer implementations simultaneously. Collaborate with other professional service team members to manage customer projects and ensure on-time delivery and successful implementations. Apply best practices and advise customers on managing contracts throughout the contracting lifecycle, via reports, metrics and reminders. Leverage your product and industry expertise to design and build customers’ contracting processes. Enable customers to build and maintain their CLM instances. Lead challenging conversations with customers to reset expectations and address product feedback. Advise customers on trade-offs that balance project timeline and their implementation goals. Proactively identify opportunities to improve our team’s implementation processes Respond to customer escalations in a way that inspires confidence and customer loyalty Qualifications: 3+ years of professional service and/or consulting experience with software companies (B2B SaaS and experience with integrations preferred). Familiarity with CLM (contract lifecycle management) and legals operations business processes. Experience implementing CLM solutions, preferably Ironclad. Passion for learning new technologies and driving outcomes through technical solutions. Demonstrated capability to establish meaningful relationships with customers, hold customers accountable, and manage customer expectations and escalations effectively. Ability to successfully navigate enterprise customers’ complex organizational structures - this involves deeply understanding the dynamics and priorities of customers’ Legal, Sales, Procurement and/or IT teams. Curiosity for listening and understanding customers’ goals and values. Experience learning and adapting quickly to a growing organization.
