Reporting to the VP of Strategy and Operations, this individual will collaborate across departments, and ultimately be responsible for: You Will... Drafting & Reviewing Agreements: Creating, reviewing, and refining legal documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company goalsNegotiation Support: Collaborating in negotiations, protecting and enforcing the company’s interestsCompliance Assurance: Ensuring Kiddom is set up to comply with relevant commercial, transactional, and privacy laws & regulationsRisk Assessment: Identifying potential legal risks and proposing practical solutions to mitigate themProcess Improvement: Developing standard templates and streamlining processes for recurring legal needs to enhance consistency and scalabilityThis role will interface directly with Counsel representing clients, partners, and vendors. What we're looking for... You have demonstrated success working across a wide range of legal matters, including oversight for all corporate reporting and obligations, and corporate governance experience (including management of board and committee). You’re an excellent oral and written communicator, able to synthesize and present complex ideas simply and understandably to employees at all levels, as well as the executive team and the Board. Your strong negotiation skills are balanced with an above average business acumen, informing your legal recommendations. You have deep experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of top-priority commercial agreements.You have provided legal support for sales organizations at scale.You work autonomously and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.You have a proven ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
