They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and QA engineers, ensuring high engineering standards and fostering a positive team culture while contributing to the development of a centralized application for Program Integrity Contractors within Medicare and Medicaid.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of software and QA engineers (currently 8), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellenceMonitor team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development to team members through regular one-on-onesDrive efficient processes and standards to enable team success and maintain high engineering standardsParticipate in resource planning and recruitment activities to scale the engineering team as necessaryFoster an inclusive, collaborative, and positive team cultureLeverage test-driven development to deliver backend systems and user interfaces to ease development and integration between themContribute to the development of APIs, specifications, and data models, facilitating integration with frontend applications and third-party systemsDesign, implement, and maintain data interactions.
