OverviewAs the Tech Lead – Full Stack Application Development for the Digital Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products. You will lead a team of 6-10 developers, guiding them through the design, development, and deployment of high-quality UI applications. Your expertise in Java Spring Boot, Oracle, React, Angular, Bootstrap, Material UI, caching frameworks, and streaming platforms will be crucial in building robust and scalable solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development: Architect, design, and develop new UI applications using Java Spring Boot, React, Angular, Bootstrap, and Material UI. Help us design a plan to move existing UI applications to new technical stack. Leverage UX frameworks, caching frameworks and streaming platforms to work across the full stack and build scalable and distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and deliver measurable business growthLeadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Collaborate with them across time zones via Teams, Github comments, documents, and frequent video conferencesBest Practices: Implement and advocate for best practices in Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, code reviews, and design patterns. Build CI/CD best practices that enable iterative delivery of features that provide incremental valueAgile Practices: Assist the leaders to build sprint commitments for the team and provide support such that the team meets deadlines and quality standards. Leverage agile concepts to encourage proof of concepts, working prototypes and faster time to marketCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive, engaging, and pleasing digital experiences to the end user. Collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIsContinuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously improving the team's skills and the product's quality. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application designQualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience8+ years’ experience in Java Spring Boot, Oracle, ORM frameworks, React, Angular, Bootstrap, and Material UI. Working experience with caching technologies like Redis, and streaming technologies like Kafka.
