Part-Time Laboratory Technical Consultant *MUST RESIDE IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK*

Compensation: Commission-based, directly aligned with client workload (typical annual earnings around $30,000)
Schedule: Day shift | Flexible, self-directed hours
Location: Remote (work from home), some New York and New Jersey travel is expected and expenses are reimbursed

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Laboratory Technical Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Technologist who values flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to work remotely while making a meaningful impact in laboratory compliance and quality oversight.

In this role, you will support an established client base using pre-developed review materials and curriculum, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality technical guidance and consultation. You will have the benefit of a flexible work schedule and ability to work from home, with the understanding that the majority of time will be during weekday hours.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical consultation for laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Review laboratory processes, documentation, and testing procedures
• Support non-waived testing environments with expert oversight
• Collaborate with clients to maintain quality assurance and best practices
• Travel as needed to support client sites (travel expenses reimbursed)

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
• Active Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) license
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in non-waived laboratory testing
• Strong understanding of laboratory regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a laboratory setting
