Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will serve as a senior level escalation point for Systems and Operations teams. This engineer will work second/third shift hours/days on a remote schedule.
Responsibilities:
Ā Troubleshoot various Windows and Linux servers and OS issues
Ā Help to virtualize an environment with VMWare
Ā Serve as escalation point with L1 and L2 teams
Ā Utilize PowerShell and Ansible commands for automation
Ā Work on a second and third shift schedule with a 24/7 team
Ā Perform various project and operations work- network troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, upgrading servers, migrating versions of OS, etc.
