Job Description
As an L2 Network Engineer, you will handle advanced network configurations, VPN setups, and firewall management. You will work on Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routing and switching, and cloud networking across Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure. The role also includes SSL certificate implementation and supporting additional technologies such as Aruba WiFi Cloud and Cisco UCS IPTEL.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ ā Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/3 network components, including routing and switching.
ā¢ ā Implement and manage VPN technologies (DMVPN, SD-WAN, Site-to-Site VPN).
ā¢ ā Operate and maintain Fortinet firewalls and security policies.
ā¢ ā Manage cloud networking for Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure (VPN, NSG).
ā¢ ā Implement SSL certificates on servers and ensure secure connectivity.
ā¢ ā Provide L2 support for incidents and changes in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
ā¢ ā Minimum 4 years of experience in network engineering.
ā¢ ā Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
ā¢ ā Expertise in Fortinet firewalls and Cisco networking.
ā¢ ā Hands-on experience with cloud networking (Azure, OCI preferred).
ā¢ ā Proficiency in SSL certificate implementation and network security fundamentals.
Nice-to-Have Skills
ā¢ ā Familiarity with Aruba WiFi Cloud.
ā¢ ā Exposure to Cisco UCS IPTEL systems.
ā¢ ā Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
