Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate K-12 Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will work with students in grades K-12, providing support and accommodations to help them access the curriculum and achieve academic success. This is a remote opportunity, offering a flexible work environment and competitive compensation package. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students with diverse learning needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educators to create a comprehensive support system for students Provide direct instruction and support to students, both individually and in small groups Assess student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and intervention plans Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and needs Essential Qualifications Valid Ohio teaching license with a specialization in special education Experience working with students in grades K-12, preferably in a special education setting Strong knowledge of special education law, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in special education or related field Experience with differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Familiarity with assistive technology and educational software Certification in a specific area of special education, such as autism or learning disabilities Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of special education law and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits We are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our educators.
