Junior YouTube Video Editor (Rough Cuts Only) – Lifestyle / Beauty Content

I’m looking for a junior video editor to help with YouTube videos for lifestyle and beauty creators. The content includes daily vlogs, chit-chats, and aesthetic lifestyle videos. You’ll handle rough cuts only — cleaning up footage, removing filler moments, and organizing the timeline so the final editor can focus on creative polish. This is an ongoing freelance role for someone reliable, fast, and detail-oriented. ✂️ Responsibilities Download and organize raw footage (usually 1-2 hours). Complete the rough cut — remove pauses, “ums,” and repeated takes for talking clips and cut b-roll into cinematic shots. Maintain continuity, pacing, and flow. Organize files and export the CapCut project file (.ccproject) for review. Communicate promptly and deliver within 1-2 days per project. ⚙️ Requirements Must use CapCut Desktop (not mobile). Must be able to export and share CapCut project files. Portfolio must include experience editing lifestyle and/or beauty YouTube videos, or be willing to complete a short trial video. Comfortable handling large amounts of footage. Strong sense of pacing and storytelling. Reliable communication. Nice to Have Familiarity with YouTube creator culture (vlogs, beauty, lifestyle). Ability to follow editing references and maintain consistency. Good organizational habits for file management and Google Drive.
