Junior Cost Controller

The Junior Cost Controller will develop and maintain project controls systems to ensure effective cost management and will collaborate with project teams to track and analyze project expenditures.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain project controls systems, procedures, and standards to ensure effective cost managementCoordinate the implementation of the EcoSys cost control tool, including user training and ongoing supportTrack, analyze, and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts, including preparation of monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and dashboardsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of project budgets, actual costs, forecasts, accruals, and cash flow projectionsCollaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and procurement teams to update forecasts, evaluate change orders, and identify cost-saving opportunitiesSupport contract management and invoicing processes by reviewing invoices, monitoring accruals, and providing cost-related insightsParticipate in project meetings to provide project controls updates and ensure compliance with internal project controls standardsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field1-2 years of experience in cost control, preferably in major EPCM projectsStrong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk managementProficiency in project controls software in EcosysKnowledge of Excel, Aconex Cost, Primavera P6, Power BIExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environmentBenefitsCompetitive compensationEmployee recognitionFlexible benefitsDiverse opportunities for training and professional developmentHybrid working cultureGenerous time-off policiesCompany OverviewAtkinsRéalis is a global firm offering engineering project management, and design solutions across infrastructure and energy sectors.
