Position Title: Junior c# developer- Secret Clearance Location: in Stafford, VA 3 times a month, remote otherwise Clearance Requirement: Secret Residency Requirement: Must be able to commute to Stafford, VA , VA 3 time a month. Position Overview: Job Description: The primary functions for this position include: β’ Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software using MS Visual Studio for C#.NET β’ Troubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issues β’ Support software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts using NUnit, SpecFlow, and other automation tools β’ Interact with required stakeholders including CODIS PMO, business analysts, and testers β’ Support continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical execution β’ Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable Required Skills β’ Must currently hold an active Secret. β’ MUST reside in VA/MD or DC β’ 1-2+ years software development experience using C# and .NET β’ SQL Server 2016 R2 or greater, T-SQL stored procedures, views, etc. β’ Familiarity with writing unit tests and their role in a Continuous Integration environment β’ Familiarity with object-oriented and SOLID design patterns β’ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required β’ Strong attention to detail, highly developed critical thinking skills, and solid trouble shooting ability β’ Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certification; required within 8 months of starting on the contract Desired Skills β’ Working knowledge of WinForms, WPF, WCF, Entity Framework, C++, XML, LINQ, SQL Database platform, MSBuild, PowerShell, InstallShield β’ Understanding of engineering modeling languages, such as ER diagrams, UML Sequence diagrams or other engineering artifacts β’ Agile/scrum development experience β’ Experience writing and reviewing automated test scripts β’ Experience with Continuous Integration tools (such as TeamCity (preferred), Jenkins or Hudson) β’ Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as nUnit, SpecFlow β’ Familiarity with Requirements Management tools such as Azure DevOp Apply tot his job
