Key responsibilities: You will work on a day-to-day basis with our design, backend and testing team to build a Work on a day to day basis with backend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to build a scalable and maintainable cloud based product. Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot. Integrate applications with AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS/EKS). Contribute to the deployment pipeline using GitHub, including pull requests, code reviews, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Write clean, testable, and well documented code following team standards and best practices. Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues using logs and metrics (e.g., CloudWatch). Participate in code reviews and actively contribute to improving coding standards, performance, and security. Analyze and implement new features and system improvements. Document technical solutions, workflows, and operational procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional experience developing applications in Java (Junior to Mid level). Basic knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS. Understanding of RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases. Experience with Git and collaborative development via pull requests. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
