What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Deliver course content and learning activities while engaging with students to promote academic success
Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond timely to student inquiries
Provide additional support such as coaching and tutoring to enhance student learning
Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay updated on course and instruction standards
Instruct and perform job-related duties in an online environment, adapting to technology changes as needed
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Masters degree or higher in Human Biology or related area of study, or relevant professional experience within the last 3 years
18 graduate credits in Human Biology or related field, or 5 years of professional/teaching experience in anatomy and physiology
Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
Current professional certification/licensure in relevant fields (e.g., Registered Nurse, Medical Physician)
Knowledge of applicable university course updates and instruction standards
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in online teaching or instruction
Active engagement in professional development activities such as conferences or publications
Background in health education or related disciplines
Familiarity with diverse learning styles and instructional strategies
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
