Jr. IT Administrator - Generalist

Everything Wine is an exciting entertainment beverage organization that values employee effort and commitment. They are seeking a proactive Jr. IT Administrator to support and maintain their IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and assist in various IT projects. Responsibilities Provide quality, timely remote support for day-to-day user tickets relating to LS Central (Microsoft Business Central), Office 365, Active Directory login and any other computer software or hardware-related issues Provide quick on-site critical support for our stores across the lower mainland Maintenance and administration of domain controller servers and services Co-manage Fortinet equipment (firewalls, switches and Wi-Fi AP’s) as required Be part of all aspects of IT and consequently of any IT projects that are done Help ensure the accuracy, health and protection of data Identify, create and maintain custom reporting (PowerBI) needed as well as any custom integration/development required that accesses and uses that data (PowerApps) Help configure, monitor, patch and report on security tools Ensure backups are being performed and that any restores required are handled quickly and successfully Skills 1+ years of experience in an IT administrator or generalist role (or cross role experience) Excellent inter-personal skills and a strong customer focus Great troubleshooting skills with the ability to think logically Good written and verbal communication with an attention to detail The ability to work well in a team Excellent organizational skills and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize numerous projects and service requests simultaneously Not afraid to take on many roles on a daily basis with a willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion Experience in all aspects of IT – Support, Servers, Databases, Networking, Security and Projects Technical certifications A post-graduate qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology Experience or knowledge of HP/Lenovo/Dell – Physical and Virtual (Hyper-V) Experience or knowledge of Windows OS (AD, GPO, PowerShell) Experience or knowledge of O365 and Azure (O365 admin, Azure admin) Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central) Experience or knowledge of LS Central Experience or knowledge of Fortinet Equipment (Firewalls, Switches, WiFi AP's) Experience or knowledge of Printers – Managed Experience or knowledge of Microsoft SQL Experience or knowledge of Power BI Experience or knowledge of Power Apps Experience or knowledge of Crowdstrike Experience or knowledge of Nessus Professional Experience or knowledge of Action1 Experience or knowledge of Splunk Experience or knowledge of CIS 20 Experience or knowledge of PCI Experience or knowledge of Solink Experience or knowledge of Magento Experience or knowledge of API Integrations Benefits Travel expenses reimbursed Company Overview Everything Wine is an online platform to browse and shop for wine.
