As a Center-Based Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop critical skills and reach their full potential.
In this rewarding position, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy in a 1:1 setting. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
Following prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on observable client behavior
Assisting with parent and caregiver training
Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with parents and caregivers
Requirements:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for the RBT competency exam
High School Diploma or GED
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and physically perform the job requirements
Strong attention to detail, patience, and emotional control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations
