Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality solutions to hospital partners, applying your expertise with precision and attention to detail
Categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and mine registry/case information from patient medical records
Perform data collection (abstracting) and reporting on eligible cancer cases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements
Support our partners' CoC Accreditation process, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance
Engage in ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
Collaborate with colleagues to identify process improvements, streamline tasks, and contribute to team best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
CTR (ODS-C) Certification required
At least 2+ years of experience abstracting with an ODS certification
Direct data abstraction experience in the Cancer Registry
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Technical proficiency, with experience working with multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel)
