Job Summary As a full-time Cashier at Eurest, you will be responsible for performing cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, and completing cash reports. You will also maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded. Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issue receipts to customers. Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Maintain all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawers are in compliance with overage/shortage standards. Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions. Replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas. Keep pastry cases stocked. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful as a full-time Cashier at Eurest, you must: Have previous customer service experience. Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a high level of sanitation and safety standards. Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications: We prefer candidates who: Have experience working in a foodservice environment. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Are certified in ServSafe or willing to obtain certification.
