Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Account Coordinator - Insurance Industry

Location: Fully Remote

Office hour: 8:30am - 5:00 pm

Classification: Non-Exempt, Direct Hire, Full-Time

A global personal and commercial insurance broker is currently seeking a Japanese Bilingual Account Coordinator to join their team. This role focuses on providing day-to-day client support and managing renewal processes for both personal and business insurance accounts.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Japanese (spoken, written, and reading) and has hands-on experience in the insurance industry, with active licenses in Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health.

Responsibilities:

Handle daily account servicing tasks such as policy changes, certificate issuance, and new enrollments

Review insurance documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all coverage is correctly stated

Prepare Broker of Record Letters and coordinate promotional/presentation materials as needed

Communicate with insurance carriers to gather necessary information and updates

Draft contracts and agreements between clients and insurance companies

Ensure accurate billing of premiums related to policy transactions

Conduct client meetings (in-person or virtual) to review current insurance coverage and options

Stay up to date with industry knowledge and insurance product offerings

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Fluency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking)

Prior experience in the insurance industry is required

Active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license(s)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
