This role bridges technical execution and business strategy, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT project management, a familiarity with technical systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Work in a highly collaborative team environment with an open communication culture· Manage a variety of IT projects, including system implementations, integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and business process improvements.· Collaborate with developers, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.· Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure timely delivery of project components.· Facilitate key project events, meetings, and communications.· Create and maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports.· Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.· Support Agile or hybrid project methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.· Communicate project updates and roadblocks to stakeholders and leadership.· Ensure projects align with IT standards, governance, and security policies.· Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3-5 years experience managing IT projects.· Certification in PMP, CSM, or equivalent is a plus but not required.· Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Excel, MS Project/Planner)· Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.· Competency with project reporting tools· Preferred familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.· Familiarity with data concepts such as ETL, data warehousing, and SQL.· Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.· Detail-oriented with ability to successfully translate business needs into technical requirements· Ability to work as part of a team.· Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Travel:· Will have to travel a few times a year for onsite team events and training, up to one business week per trip (less than 10%)Originally posted on Himalayas
