We’ve joined forces with top AI and crowd researchers at Anthropic, Character.AI, Imbue, Stanford, and University of Pennsylvania to build a fair and ethical platform for AI developers to collaborate with domain experts to train bespoke AI models.We are looking for an experienced IT Consultant/System Administrator to support a range of high-impactinfrastructure, systems, and security projects across the company. This person will assess our current environment, recommend practical improvements, and execute key initiatives that strengthen our operational readiness, streamline our technology stack, and improve security and access management.This is a hands-on role for someone who can balance strategy and execution. The idealA consultant can quickly audit our current tools and systems, identify risk and inefficiency, and implement scalable solutions that make the company more secure, organized, and operationally mature.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the renewal assessment for Slack, including reviewing current usage, auditingconnected tools and workflows, and making recommendations on contract renewal,optimization, and cost effectivenessAudit and help clean up Google Workspace and Slack accounts, including user access,permissions, inactive accounts, group structure, and general admin hygieneAssess the company’s current state of IT, systems administration, documentation, andcontrols to help make the business more M&A ready and audit-readyIdentify gaps in controls, asset management, access management, documentation, and vendor management, and security practices, and recommend remediation plansRecommend, design, and implement improvements to streamline the company’s toolsand systems environmentImprove company security posture, including implementing or strengthening single sign- on (SSO), identity and access management, device controls, and accountprovisioning/deprovisioning processesEstablish simple, intuitive, and scalable user provisioning systems for onboarding,offboarding, and role changesEvaluate current tools and reduce unnecessary complexity by consolidating redundantplatforms where appropriateRecommend, propose, and implement systems for equipment tracking, deviceadministration, and core IT asset managementSet up and improve internal systems, networks, and technology infrastructure to support business growth and reduce operational frictionCreate practical documentation, workflows, and standards that improve long-termmaintainability and operational readinessPartner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, people, and leadership to prioritize projects and deliver improvements with minimal disruptionQualificationsProven experience as an IT Consultant, IT Manager, Systems Administrator, orsimilar role in a fast-paced company environmentExperience managing and optimizing Slack, Google Workspace, identity providers, andSaaS tool ecosystemsStrong understanding of SSO, identity and access management, provisioning/deprovisioning, and security best practicesExperience preparing companies for audits, diligence requests, compliance reviews, orM&A-related operational readinessExperience with IT asset management, equipment tracking, endpoint administration, and systems documentationAbility to assess a fragmented environment, set priorities, and implement practicalsolutions quicklyStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams atonceClear communicator who can explain technical tradeoffs and recommendations to non-technical stakeholdersHands-on, resourceful, and comfortable operating both strategically and tacticallyPreferred QualificationsExperience working with startups or high-growth companiesExperience rationalizing and consolidating SaaS toolsFamiliarity with security frameworks, audit preparation, or diligence processesExperience implementing endpoint management, MDM, and access governance solutionsExperience supporting network setup and office IT infrastructure where neededDeliverables / Areas of FocusThe consultant will initially focus on the following projects:Slack Renewal and Systems AuditAudit Slack usage, integrations, and related toolsReview contract and provide renewal recommendationsClean up Slack and Google account administrationM&A / Audit ReadinessAssess current IT controls, documentation, and systemsIdentify gaps and provide a readiness planHelp implement priority improvementsSystems Streamlining and SecurityRecommend and implement improvements to simplify the tool stackStrengthen security, including SSO and access controlsSet up intuitive provisioning and deprovisioning workflowsImplement equipment tracking and administration processesInfrastructure and Tool ConsolidationSet up additional systems or networks as neededReduce redundant tools and improve overall efficiencyIdeal ProfileYou are practical, organized, and execution-oriented.
