Delta Airlines is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst - IT Facilities to join our team on a remote work basis. As an IT Business Analyst - IT Facilities, you will provide IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication spaces for Delta's IT Offices Group.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, accompanying, protection systems of support and break/fix services for server farm critical infrastructure, IT accreditation labs, and remote communication room critical climate hardware.
Offer IT support of IT labs to align with our client application and engineering groups with workstations, equipment, and access to test their application.
Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms.
Manage, operate, maintain, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for server farm and remote communication room equipment.
Develop server farm and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and grounds offices underground fiber ring.
Suggest and implement departmental policy, procedures, guidelines, and systems.
Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
Manage projects for server farm and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
Source IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.


Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Builds and maintains effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers.
Knowledge of server farm technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
Project management of remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
Capital determining and project management for airport critical hardware life cycle replacement.
Support Corporate Land projects that engage with remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative and on-site appraisal reporting.
Space, UPS Power, and critical cooling capacity management.
Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, getting the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.


Preferred Qualifications:


Four-year certification or 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Exchange School Graduate.
IT Project Management experience (minimum 2 years) within a high-availability communication room or potentially server farm operating environment, everyday functional requirements, and the operation of production systems and hardware.


Skills and Competencies:


Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal information.
Flexibility to support an operation with changing movements, extended hours, and ready to come in case of emergency requirements.
Balances multiple needs within established time limitations.
