Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to lead and perform IT audit engagements from planning through reporting. The ideal candidate will evaluate internal controls, identify technology risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen cybersecurity and IT governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and perform IT audit engagements including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Conduct opening and closing meetings with clients to discuss audit scope, findings, and recommendations.
• Assess internal controls and risks related to the organization's technology infrastructure.
• Identify system weaknesses and security vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
• Plan and execute internal audit procedures and prepare detailed audit reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT security policies and procedures.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain documentation using internal audit tools.
• Work with internal systems and audit management software during the audit lifecycle.
• Support threat and vulnerability management initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience conducting IT audits from planning through reporting
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk management
• Familiarity with IT audit frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
• Exposure to ServiceNow is a plus
• Experience in threat and vulnerability management
• Strong understanding of IT compliance and governance
• Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs
• Certified Information Systems Auditor or similar certification preferred
• SOX knowledge is not required

Experience Levels

Intermediate
• Up to 4 years of IT audit experience
• Requires some managerial guidance

Advanced
• 4+ years of IT audit experience
• Strong understanding of audit concepts with minimal supervision

Expert
• 7+ years of IT audit experience
• Ability to apply audit concepts strategically and work independently

Education
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Candidates with 7–10 years of IT auditing experience may qualify without a degree.

Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
