Summary
This position has been created to build and grow the banks internal Data Streaming capabilities within our Enterprise Data Integration team. As the need for real-time data and analytics, combining multiple sources, continues to grow, the need for data streaming increases within the bank. This role will partner with internal and external project and agile teams to help build, maintain and support streaming data integrations and applications that underpin our operational and analytical needs. The role will help build and evolve standards and patterns for streaming data within the bank. As data increasingly drives the banking industry, and becomes an ever more critical part of serving our customers, our businesses, management and regulatory agencies, this position will be critical to the continued and future success of the organization.
The role includes:
Evolution and support of the Kafka environment
Development of Data Streaming Standards and Patterns
Development and support of Kafka integrations, including topics, producers, consumers and streaming applications
Operational management of the Kafka platform
Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must have at least 7 years of overall IT experience. Must have at least 5 years of experience with data integration. Must have 5 years of hands-on experience with Java or Scala with strong SQL background. Must have 3 years of hands-on experience on Kafka or Data streaming development experience or 3+ years of hands-on experience on Data streaming development like Kafka.
