We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Retail Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, particularly in the retail domain. You will lead the technical implementation, integration, and optimization of Dynamics 365 Retail solutions while guiding a team of developers and collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Guidance: Lead and mentor a team of developers and technical consultants in the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail solutions. Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development process.Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail, ensuring that the platform meets the unique needs of retail operations (e.g., point of sale, inventory management, omnichannel integrations).Customization & Configuration: Oversee the customization and configuration of Dynamics 365 Retail applications, including POS (Point of Sale), merchandising, supply chain, and financials. Configure workflows, extensions, and integrations to enhance system functionality.System Integration: Lead efforts for integrating Dynamics 365 Retail with third-party systems (e.g., eCommerce platforms, ERP, supply chain management systems, loyalty programs, etc.). Ensure seamless data flow and real-time synchronization between systems.Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders (including retail operations, sales, and IT teams) to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and define solution architecture based on business needs.Technical Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs within the Dynamics 365 Retail environment.Best Practices & Compliance: Ensure that development and implementation adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to optimize retail operations. Stay current with the latest Dynamics 365 updates and industry trends, making recommendations for upgrades and new features.Project Management Support: Assist project managers in defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Help track project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery within budget and schedule.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Retail) are a plus.Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly within the Retail and Commerce space.Proven experience leading technical teams in the implementation, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.Strong experience in retail-specific modules such as Point of Sale (POS), inventory management, order management, and loyalty programs.Technical Skills:Expertise in Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce (POS, eCommerce, Finance, etc.).Proficient in coding languages and frameworks such as X++, C#, and JavaScript.Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure services.Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Operations) and/or D365 Supply Chain Management is a plus.Experience with data integration and API-based services (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP).Familiarity with Azure DevOps and source control systems (Git).Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Leadership and mentoring experience with a technical team.
